Russo Development has redefined the residential experience for the renter-by-choice with a destination right outside their personal space.

Vermella Union’s amenities space, which totals more than 80,000 square feet, opened January 10 at the 415-unit luxury residential community across from Kean University in Union. Access to the common areas, fulfilling Russo’s vision to provide a resort-living concept at attainable rents in a transit-friendly location, comes as a response to the growing demand for resort lifestyles.

Its centerpiece is the 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, The Union Club, designed to accommodate everything from large gatherings to quiet co-working nooks. An array of activation areas including an interactive children’s playroom, private business lounge, five-sport simulator, high-tech screening room, and professional demonstration kitchen provide a unique set of extras for residents.

“Vermella Union’s apartments are generously sized, but the extension of the home through our amenities program sets us apart from any other community available in the New York Metro area, in New Jersey, and possibly the country,” Pasternack said.

The Union Club’s fully-equipped fitness center features state-of-the-art equipment, a yoga room, Fitness on Demand, a CrossFit area, and an array of free weights.

At full build-out, Vermella Union’s 42-acre campus-style community will include more than 1,250 luxury apartments across from Kean’s 16,000-student campus and new business school building, and the Union Train Station, minutes from the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike.
